the words as said

well. Its kinda sad writing this but thought i should comment about it.My grandma passed away ystd morning ard 7. The entire family or probably just me my mum,dad and bro spent an entire night at the hospital. Things took a huge turn really fast. Sat night was meh's chalet where we celebrated her 21st birthday. Although we did sleep for prob 6 hrs, I was still kinda tired and all. When i came back on sun sfternoon,my mum told me that my grandma had been admitted to SGH because she refused to eat any food, her medicine and kept repeating that she was tired and wanted to sleep. Sensing that something was wrong, they sent her to the hospital. That was sat night. Sunday came and my mum called the hospital up to check on things. The staff nurse SAID that she was fine and all just sleepin as usual. Monday came and i was supposed to meet jer to pass her some stuff and also study with her aft sch. But the doc called and said some things that my mum cldnt really finish listenin to that she hung up the phone on the doc. She told me that the doc had said that her condition was really bad and he asked for the entire family to come down to see her.

Well. of cos i didnt went to meet jer.I was pretty worried so i went to SGH with my mum. We reached there ard 3 in the afternoon. When we saw her, she seemed like she was in a state of shock. Her expression seemed so painful and rigid and she couldnt even speak a word. She was never like that. Even thou she had dementia like recently, she only scolded unneccessarily and all that. It was really saddening seeing her like that. The doc later explained that she had heart and kidney failure and also chest infection. AND he prepared us for the worst.

My bro and dad came down ard 8pm and as the doc said they werent sure if she cld pull through tonight, we stayed over at the hosp. Hardly slept. And she passed away at 7 plus in the morning.

Despite all the emotions and all, my mum had to contact funeral palours and all. We were really busy and all. So didnt sleep for another day as we were probably her closest kin and we couldnt just leave her in the funeral palour alone.

So there it goes, without any sleep for 2 days and looking like a zombie. I kinda was too tired to think things through. It feels like a part of me is kinda missing thou i wasnt as upset as my mum. It's just that she has been in every part of our lives. I still remembered the times when we were young, my grandma wld wait for us at the bus stop to pick us up. And all the small small things that she did, seemingly nothing in the past actually meant something now. Now that she's gone.

So i guess i learnt that life is short. Its always good to appreciate the things around us, no matter how irritating or depressing certain issues can get. I guess it just means to cherish every little action ur loved ones portray and to really make known what u really feel before it gets too late.
